Just a short story. About 10ish min long. Free to download. Have fun.

Anninihilsm was inspired by a conversation I had, which posed a question to me. How would you write a fable about slaying a dragon that represented the meaninglessness of life? My mind went to films like The Never Ending Story or The Green Knight, but I wasn't being asked this question because they wanted to know my analysis of these stories. They asked me because they wanted to know what "I" thought about the answer to this question; so, that's what I set out to do. My personal take on the madness that drove Nietzsche to his embarrassing grave. Obviously, I disagree with his work. I know he's a smart guy, but you at least have to admit that the remedy he offered up to us wasn't enough to save himself. It isn't equivalent to say that if he died of insanity that this means his work is false. What I will say is... For how complex his ideas were, he was certainly the most abled man to understand them and yet he found no salvation in his own ubermensch ideals.

I understand that my story leaves a lot up to the reader. But I think those that are paying attention will be able to solve it. You may wonder... How did this medieval setting kill God? Why don't we get to see the Dragon fight? The ending made me realize that not everything I was seeing was real, what about the visuals can I trust and not trust? The purpose of this story is to tell it's message and not dwell on answering questions that don't matter to that aim. If your goals align with the purpose of my message, then you'll be fine.
